We are excited to announce the transfer of RHJNC player membership to RHFNC following the recent survey of current members, which demonstrated support of this initiative.
The transfer of the Junior Netball Club from the Red Hill Junior Football Club to the Red Hill Football Netball Club is strategic move is designed to align our resources and efforts, providing a more cohesive and supportive environment for our young athletes to benefit from ongoing coaching and collaboration with experienced senior netball players.
What will change?
- Governance and Reporting – This will change with player membership transferred to the Senior Football Netball Club
- The alliance with the Senior Netball Club will provide us with access to free training coaches and support from the seniors to reduce the pressure on parent coaches, provide player pathways from junior to senior netball ranks and create stronger links to the larger Red Hill community for greater support.
- The Senior Football Netball Club will take over administration of the Junior Netball Club. The Junior Club will still have the same freedom to do things our way but won’t have to run a formal committee of management, pay bills, order uniforms or manage Netball Connect
What will stay the same?
- The culture and freedom of the Junior Netball Club will continue to operate in the best interests of its families and players will not change.
- All sponsorship or fundraising derived by the junior netball club will go directly to the juniors as it does now.
- Club Membership costs will remain unchanged.
