Coaching

Coaches
Coaches are needed for all teams. Whether you are a past or present netballer or someone with a passion for coaching team sports, we’d love to hear from you.

As a coach, you will be required to:
– Plan & execute weekly training sessions with your team
– Coach weekly games on Saturday mornings
– Provide players with constructive feedback, encouragement and guidance on netball rules
– Communicate with parents

Coaching is a big commitment. Winter season runs from March – September. It is possible for teams to have two coaches to work together to train and coach. Coaches are required to register via Netball Connect (we will provide a discount code to cover the registration fees) and are also required to have a current Working With Children Check.

We’d love some volunteer junior/assistant coaches (from older age groups or senior teams) to help parent coaches with skills training too!

Team Managers
Team Managers are the primary point of contact between the club/association and team parents to communicate fixtures, monitor attendance and relay general information on registration and training.

In the absence of a Team Manager, coaches will be required to fill this role.
